Four attorneys have been identified as finalists for the position of Latah County Magistrate Judge. The candidates include Nez Perce County Magistrate Judge Sunil Ramalingam, Moscow attorney Sandra Lockett, Nez Perce County Senior Judicial Staff Attorney Kelley Porter, and Moscow attorney Erin Tomlin.

Interviews conducted by the Idaho Magistrate Commission of the Second Judicial District are scheduled to take place on Monday morning, starting at 9:30 at the Latah County Courthouse in Moscow. These interviews will be open to the public. Out of the eight attorneys who applied for the position, the commission is responsible for making the final appointment.

This vacancy arose in May following the appointment of former Latah County Magistrate Judge Megan Marshall to the Latah County Second District Court bench by Governor Brad Little. The position became available after Judge John Judge retired in January.
