The Auditorium Chamber Music Series in Moscow is set to begin its 40th season on Thursday, September 25, featuring a concert by the all-women vocal group, Lyyra, which is part of The VOCES8 Foundation.
The concert will showcase a diverse range of music genres, including both classical and pop, catering to various musical preferences.
Lyyra, named after the constellation associated with Orpheus’ lyre, made its debut performances across the country in 2024, under the VOCES8 Foundation’s initiative to enhance music education accessibility.
Eneida Larti, director of ACMS and associate professor of piano, remarked on the significance of this season, highlighting the importance of celebrating the 40th anniversary of the series. She noted that Lyyra’s program, which covers 400 years of music from early compositions to contemporary works, serves as a fitting tribute to the series’ legacy while looking ahead.
Tickets for the 7:30 pm performance can be purchased at UITickets.com, and additional information about this year’s Chamber Music Series is available online.
