Pullman Regional Hospital has been recognized with three Silver Achievement Awards from the American Heart Association following its initial year of participation in the “Get With the Guidelines” quality improvement program.

The hospital received these awards in the areas of Heart Failure, Stroke, and Coronary Artery Disease care, marking a significant accolade for a first-year participant. Additionally, Pullman Regional Hospital was awarded the American Heart Association Commitment to Quality award for its accomplishments within the program.

Verna Yockey, Director of the Intensive Care and Medical-Surgical Unit at Pullman Regional Hospital, commented on the implications of these awards for patient care, emphasizing the importance of meeting high standards to ensure timely and effective treatment, particularly in critical situations such as strokes and heart-related incidents.
