WSU has introduced a new initiative through its NIL collective, the Cougar Collective, named “6×26.” This membership drive aims to recruit 600 new members for the 1890 Club by 2026. The initiative seeks to attract both new members and upgrades from existing supporters.

If the target is reached, a group of anonymous donors has pledged a total of $200,000 to support the Cougar Collective. Membership in the 1890 Club is available for $18.90 per month, which contributes to the support of WSU’s student-athletes and enhances the university’s competitiveness in national sports.

WSU Head Football Coach Jimmy Rogers expressed a strong commitment to building a formidable team, emphasizing the importance of alumni participation. He stated that with approximately 250,000 alumni, only 10% joining the 1890 Club would significantly impact the program.
