A resident of Pullman and manager at Washington State University, Aly Heinrich, is set to compete in the upcoming Mrs. American pageant in Las Vegas next week. Heinrich earned the title of Mrs. Washington American at the state pageant held in Olympia in March. According to a report by WSU News, she oversees the CougarCard Center on the university’s campus and has been living in Pullman since 2020 with her husband. Additionally, Heinrich serves as a board member for the League of Women Voters of Washington.

The Mrs. American Pageant honors married women for their poise, public service, and personal achievements. Notably, half of the overall score in the competition is determined by an interview segment. The titleholder of Mrs. American will have the opportunity to compete in the Mrs. World pageant.
