The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality has issued an air quality advisory affecting residents of Latah, Clearwater, and Nez Perce Counties.

As of August 22, the air quality has been classified as ‘Unhealthy,’ with expectations of moderate air quality conditions for August 23 and 24.

Open burning is currently prohibited in response to air quality and fire safety concerns.
