On Sunday morning, there was an attempted burglary at the ATM of Freedom Northwest Credit Union located on the South end of Uniontown along U.S. Highway 195. The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident around 7:00 AM. A black Dodge Challenger was identified as the vehicle involved in the attempt to access the ATM. The suspect did not succeed in obtaining any cash and left the scene heading South on the highway. The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office is requesting anyone with information regarding this case to come forward.
