The Red Cross has established a shelter for individuals displaced by a recent apartment fire on Military Hill.
As stated in a press release from the Red Cross, the shelter is located at the City of Pullman’s Parks and Recreation Center at City Hall on Crestview Street. It provides food, cots, and other essential services.
Pullman Police Commander Ruben Harris reported that the fire was caused by an explosive device, which affected eight units in an apartment building on Larry Street. The Spokane Bomb Squad has responded, and an adjacent building has been evacuated. Approximately 20 residential units have been impacted.
