The Port of Whitman County has allocated approximately $4,000 to assist the Town of Rosalia in funding upgrades to the community’s RV park.

The RV park was closed in the spring of the previous year, and efforts are underway to reopen it after staff complete the necessary upgrades. The planned improvements include the installation of new water lines and frost-free water hydrants, with the total project cost estimated at $7,500.

Under an Economic Development and Tourism Agreement, the Port of Whitman County will contribute to the funding of this project. Port officials anticipate that the reopening of the Rosalia RV park will have a positive impact on tourism in the area.
