Washington State University Athletics has launched a new website aimed at providing information and resources related to Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) opportunities for student-athletes. This platform is designed for fans, donors, and businesses who wish to support Cougar athletes.
According to WSU Director of Athletics Anne McCoy, the website serves as a centralized resource for individuals interested in assisting with the recruitment and retention of student-athletes.
Recently, WSU Athletics has created two positions specifically focused on NIL and has partnered with Opendorse, a recognized provider of NIL technology, to aid student-athletes in developing and monetizing their personal brands. The website also includes educational resources to clarify how supporters can engage with NIL initiatives.
