Washington State University Whitman County Master Gardener volunteers will organize Garden Talk Tuesday on the first Tuesday of each month from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at Neill Public Library. This event will include presentations on various gardening topics and an “Ask a Master Gardener” table where attendees can ask questions and receive assistance with plant problems.

On November 4, Lindsay Myron, who operates Smoot’s Flavor Farm, an herb farm located north of Pullman, will lead a presentation titled “Planning and Growing an Herb Garden.” Myron’s talk will cover strategies for planning and maintaining both culinary and tea herb gardens. The focus will be on creating gardens that are friendly to beginners and efficient in water usage while also supporting pollinator populations.

For individuals unable to attend, gardening questions can be sent to [email protected].
