In Latah County, several contested local races concluded during Tuesday’s general election, with results reflecting the decisions made by local Idaho voters.

Brian Kennedy was elected to the Moscow School Board. Daniel Cochrane and Eric Sutton secured seats on the Deary City Council. In Juliaetta, Eric McDowell and Stephanie Tackett were elected to four-year terms on the City Council, while Rick Lawless won a two-year term. Richard Tackett also appears to have won a two-year seat, edging out Amanda Fletcher by a single vote.

On the Potlatch City Council, Jody Long and Martin Anderson emerged as winners. Bill Abbott was elected as Mayor of Troy, and James Stoner and Patrick Cordova secured positions on the Troy City Council.

In the Bovill Fire District Board elections, Chris Childers and Chase Hill won their respective contested races. The Moscow Cemetery Board saw Cindy Tubb and Cheyenne Stooks achieving victory in their races.
