The annual residential leaf collection program in Pullman is scheduled to begin on Monday, November 10, and will continue through Wednesday, November 26. Street sweepers will follow the collection to enhance cleaning as time permits.

Leaf collection will start at Pioneer Hill on November 10, 12, and 13. The service will then move to Military Hill on November 14, 17, and 18, proceed to Sunnyside Hill on November 19, 20, and 21, and conclude with College Hill on November 24, 25, and 26.

Residents are advised to rake leaves into the street next to the curb no more than two days before the scheduled collection date. It is important for vehicles to be parked off-street during collection times. Leaves collected are recycled into mulch, which is transported directly from street pickup to the mulch pile.

Please refrain from bagging leaves or including grass clippings, branches, or other debris, as these items will not be collected. Additionally, residents are encouraged to avoid raking leaves over or into stormwater drains to prevent potential drainage issues during rainfall or snow melt.
