A 19-year-old man from Moscow has agreed to plead guilty in federal court to charges related to the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material. Cameron Kittell has entered into a plea agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice in Idaho, which includes a guilty plea to the distribution of child pornography. The agreement suggests a minimum sentence of ten years in federal prison, with a maximum of 20 years.
Kittell was arrested in July after Moscow Police received a CyberTip regarding his alleged sharing of child sexual abuse material via Snapchat. Authorities seized his phone and confirmed that he was distributing illegal content on the platform.
Initially, the charges were filed in Latah County Second District Court before being taken over by federal prosecutors, leading to an indictment in U.S. District Court.
