A community initiative is reviving Dads’ Weekend in Pullman this weekend, led by a collaboration of local businesses and the CougFan website. The event aligns with a series of home games at Washington State University, including men’s and women’s basketball games against the University of Washington and Stanford, respectively, as well as a football matchup versus Louisiana Tech.
Previously known as Dads’ Weekend, the event was transitioned to Fall Family Weekend five years ago. Business owners have reported a noticeable drop in sales during this period, prompting the current effort to reinstate the traditional celebration and encourage attendance at the university’s events. Notably, WSU’s Fall Family Weekend was observed last month.
Various Pullman businesses are offering promotions over the weekend:
– **The Table Kitchen & Bar at Palouse Ridge Golf Club**: A special deal featuring a BBQ pulled pork sandwich, fries, and a pint of beer for $20.
