The League of Women Voters of Moscow is hosting a presentation by philosopher Neil Levy titled “Have they gone crazy? Political conspiracy theories and our fellow citizens” on Wednesday, November 19, at noon at the 1912 Center.

Neil Levy, a professor of philosophy at Macquarie University and Senior Research Fellow at the Uehiro Oxford Institute, will discuss the prevalence of conspiracy theories and explore the discrepancy between polling data and genuine belief in these theories.

In his presentation, Levy will examine how acceptance of conspiracy theories can vary across the political spectrum and change over time due to different social and political influences.

The event will also be accessible via Zoom using Meeting ID 823 1557 3245 and Passcode 335877.
