One of the school district levies from last week’s special election in Whitman County is currently not meeting the required votes for approval.

The school levy in Lamont is presently not passing. The Whitman County Auditor’s Office in Colfax has tabulated another batch of vote-by-mail ballots on Friday, with plans to run another batch this Friday.

The school district levies in Palouse, Garfield, and Colton are currently receiving enough support to pass.

The parks and recreation district levy in Rosalia is also not meeting the necessary votes for approval.
