A pilot reported a sighting of a drone flying near his aircraft at an altitude of 13,000 feet over Tekoa on Thursday afternoon. The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office received the report around 6:00 PM. Air traffic control in Seattle communicated with the pilot who made the report. Subsequently, controllers informed the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, which verified the plane’s location over Tekoa. Spokane County Deputies then passed the information to the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office regarding the sighting.
