The Latah County Historical Society is hosting a volunteer appreciation event on Tuesday, April 8 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the 1912 Center Great Room in Moscow. The event will include a recap of the organization’s activities over the past year, discussions about plans for 2025 and beyond, and the presentation of Volunteer of the Year awards.
Following the awards, there will be a presentation by Dr. Rebecca Scofield, an author and associate professor at the University of Idaho, titled “Firebreathers: Feminism and the History of Dragon-riding Fiction.”
Attendance is free and open to the public; complimentary coffee and cookies will be provided, along with a no-host bar from the Moscow Alehouse and food available for purchase from The Smoke Ring.
