The Moscow Education Association is organizing a screening of ‘Covenant of the Salmon People,’ a documentary that explores the Nez Perce tribe’s efforts to protect the Chinook salmon.

The film addresses the challenges posed by a dammed river system and climate change on the Chinook salmon population, highlighting the tribe’s commitment to their ancestral promise. It raises questions about the effectiveness of these efforts in preventing the potential extinction of wild salmon.

The screening will take place at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre in Moscow on Tuesday, April 15, at 5:30 pm.
