On April 10, the Pullman Police Department assisted in freeing a marmot that had become stuck beneath a train rail near a local walking path. With help from bystanders, Officer Loop was able to release the marmot, which then quickly moved away from the tracks. The Pullman Police Department shared on Facebook that they are committed to serving all members of the Pullman community.
