Thousands of students are participating in the 58th Annual Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival at the University of Idaho.

This educational jazz festival runs from Tuesday through Friday, with over 2,000 students involved in adjudicated performances, jazz workshops, and meet-the-artist sessions. Evening concerts begin at 7:00 PM, starting with a free session on Tuesday night in the Administration Building Auditorium. Concerts will move to the ICCU Arena on Wednesday night and conclude on Friday night with the Lionel Hampton Big Band featuring percussionist Jason Marsalis.
