The Appaloosa Museum & Heritage Center in Moscow will relocate at the end of June, though the new location has not yet been announced. A recent post on the museum’s Facebook page indicated that the building on Pullman Road at the state line has been sold, and the museum’s collection is scheduled to be packed up by June 30th.

Earlier in January, it was announced that the Appaloosa Horse Club and the museum board had voted to sell the building. The Moscow-Pullman Daily News reported that the 50-year-old facility has a leaky roof that would require approximately $350,000 in repairs. Officials have expressed a desire to move the museum to a new location within the Inland Northwest. The current facility was built in 1974.
