Pullman High School will host a presentation on the life of Andrew Laszlo, presented by his son, Andrew Jr., at the PHS Auditorium on Tuesday, April 15 at 7:00 pm.
Laszlo was born in Papa, Hungary, and was the only member of his family to survive the Holocaust.
After the war, he immigrated to the United States and became a cinematographer, known for his work on projects such as Shogun and Rambo: First Blood.
In 2004, he was recognized alongside Elie Wiesel during the Days of Remembrance ceremony at the US Capitol.
