The City of Pullman has identified Brett Nash as the nominee for the position of fire chief, pending final approval from the city council. Meghan Ferrin, the city’s spokeswoman, confirmed that Nash, who currently works in the fire service in Nevada, will be presented to the council for a confirmation vote. The city has not disclosed additional details about the nominee at this time. More information is expected to be available when the next Pullman City Council documents are released in a week.

This announcement follows the upcoming retirement of Chief Mike Heston, whose last day in office will be February 7th. Heston has served as Pullman Fire Chief since 2013.
