A 31-year-old man from Thornton was arrested following a crash that resulted in injuries and involved allegations of driving under the influence.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the incident took place Saturday night around 9:00 PM, south of Rosalia at the intersection of U.S. Highway 195 and Ralph Henning Road. The report indicates that Riley Maley allegedly ran a stop sign and collided with a southbound pickup truck driven by 71-year-old Richard Hattan from Colton. Hattan sustained injuries and was transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. Maley reportedly fled the scene in his pickup truck but was located by troopers after a brief search. He faces charges of felony vehicular assault, hit and run, and DUI.
