Idaho Fish and Game has updated the fishing regulations in response to the current spring chinook salmon run. Fishing on the Clearwater River and its middle and south forks is now permitted seven days a week. Anglers can keep up to two adult chinook salmon per day on the south fork, while the daily bag limit for the remainder of the Clearwater Basin is set at one adult chinook per day. The north fork remains open for spring chinook fishing from Thursday to Sunday. These new regulations are now in effect, reflecting a larger run than initially predicted.
