Potable water will be available at the Laird Park Campground near Harvard this season. The U.S. Forest Service previously shut down the water system due to concerns about water quality. The Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest has since made repairs, and recent tests indicate that the water meets safety standards. Laird Park is set to open for the season on Monday.
