Troy High School baseball senior catcher Makhi Durrett has been named the Idaho State Athlete of the Week. Durrett received this recognition for his performance during the Trojans’ state play-in series against North Star Charter. He achieved 8 hits in 11 at-bats, including 4 triples, and contributed 8 runs batted in (RBI) along with 6 runs scored. Additionally, he caught 16 innings and allowed only one stolen base. Durrett also pitched for 6 innings, striking out 5 batters and giving up two earned runs.
