A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a crash west of Pullman on Tuesday afternoon. According to the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred around 5:30 PM on Wawawai Road near the Snake River. Reports indicate that the motorcyclist lost control while navigating a curve and subsequently went down an embankment. He was transported from the scene by air to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston and later transferred to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane for further treatment. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, with preliminary findings suggesting that speed may have played a role. Whitman County Fire District 14 Volunteers from Colton/Uniontown responded to the scene.
