Additionally, spending by athletics department staff and student athletes contributed an estimated $253 million during this period. The total direct revenue impact from Cougar Athletics was nearly $300 million.

The consultants also assessed the advertising value generated by Cougar Athletics through various media channels, including television, streaming, and social media. Their findings suggested that this advertising exposure amounted to about $1.5 billion over the three years analyzed.

Overall, the total economic impact attributed to Cougar Athletics from fiscal years 2021 to 2024 was estimated to be nearly $2.3 billion.
