Detectives Lawrence Mowery and Andrew Fox from the Moscow Police Department received certificates of excellence from the US Secret Service Spokane Resident Office for their contributions in digital forensics.

In 2024, Detective Fox conducted the highest volume of data analysis among graduates of the National Computer Forensics Institute in regions including northern Idaho, eastern Washington, and western Montana, analyzing over 58 terabytes of data. Detective Mowery followed closely, analyzing approximately 31 terabytes during the same period.

These awards highlight the detectives’ roles in addressing cybercrime in their jurisdiction.
