A section of State Route 272 between Colfax and Palouse will be closed on Wednesday for culvert replacement work.

The Washington State Department of Transportation plans to close the highway approximately ten miles east of Colfax from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Motorists are advised to use Clear Creek Road as a detour between SR272 and SR27 south of Palouse during this time.
