The sewer replacement project in the alley west of Main Street in Moscow is set to commence on Monday, June 23, and is anticipated to be completed by September 23.

The project entails the removal and replacement of outdated sewer lines, the installation of new manholes, and the reconnection of existing sewer services.

During the course of the project, there will be periodic closures of Sixth Street between Main and Jackson Streets, which will also affect sidewalk access along the north side of Sixth Street.

Drivers and pedestrians in the vicinity can expect detours and potential delays during this time. Additionally, there will be a phased closure of the South Jackson Street parking lot. The Moscow Urban Renewal Agency has permitted the City to temporarily utilize the lot located at the southeast corner of Sixth and Jackson during the closure.
