Fire crews are currently responding to a timber fire located north of Deary. The Latah County Sheriff’s Office indicated that the fire was first reported around 9:00 PM on Monday. Firefighters from the Idaho Department of Lands and Deary Volunteer Fire Department are engaged in efforts to control the fire, which is estimated to cover an area of approximately one acre.
