A man in Moscow reported that he discharged a shotgun at an individual in his backyard early Saturday morning.

Moscow Police responded to the residence on Highland Drive shortly after midnight. According to the homeowner, he observed someone in his backyard and approached the person. The individual allegedly did not respond or show their hands and began moving toward the homeowner. The man then fired a shotgun, but it appears he missed, as the individual jumped over a fence and left the area.

Police conducted a search of the vicinity but did not find any evidence related to the incident. The homeowner is currently being investigated for possibly discharging a firearm illegally within city limits.
