The Addium-METER Foundation has granted $2,500 to Palouse Habitat for Humanity for the purchase of trusses needed for the construction of a home for the Namauu family in Pullman.

The Namauus, which include Jake, Shayla, and their two young daughters, are set to become the homeowners of Palouse Habitat’s ongoing building project in Pullman. This funding will assist in acquiring materials essential for completing a significant phase of the construction.

Shayla Namauu expressed the importance of the future home, stating that it will provide a safe and affordable living environment for their daughters. The family is relieved about the prospect of securing housing in Pullman without the constant concern of financial strain.

Given the rising costs of building materials, contributions from local foundations like Addium-METER play a crucial role in enabling Palouse Habitat to maintain affordability for families in the area.
