The Appaloosa Horse Club in Moscow is relocating to a temporary office near downtown. Meanwhile, there has been no announcement regarding the new location of the Appaloosa Museum & Heritage Center.
In January, both the museum and the horse club revealed on Facebook their decision to sell their building located on Pullman Road at the state line. The Moscow-Pullman Daily News reported that the building required approximately $350,000 in repairs due to a leaky roof.
Lori Wunderlich, the President of the Appaloosa Horse Club, recently shared on Facebook that the office will temporarily move to Asbury Street.
Currently, museum officials have not disclosed their new location, as the building has been sold and they must vacate by the end of the month. Earlier this year, officials from the Appaloosa Museum & Heritage Center indicated they are seeking a new space in the Inland Northwest. The last Appy Festival at the museum in Moscow is scheduled for this Thursday.
The existing structure of the Appaloosa Museum & Heritage Center was built in 1974.
