The Latah County Sheriff’s Office has announced an evacuation notice for residents and visitors near the White Pine Fire area.

The fire has burned approximately 13 acres near the Giant White Pine Campground, located north of Harvard. As a precaution, deputies evacuated the campground on Monday.
