
The Save the Gladish fundraising campaign will officially kick off this weekend in Pullman. Funds raised will be allocated for the preservation of the historic Gladish Community and Cultural Center. The kickoff event is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Saturday at the Gladish, featuring live music and guided tours.

A planned power outage is scheduled for Saturday, affecting certain Clearwater Power customers. This outage will impact customers in the Uniontown and Genesee areas, as well as those to the south along the state line. The top of Lewiston Hill and the Port of Wilma will also experience a power interruption.

The Whitman County Humane Society has reported that they have exceeded their $3,000 fundraising goal for the Kitten Shower campaign, raising a total of $9,800 with three days remaining. A local resident contributed $5,000, which will assist in covering kitten vaccinations and spay/neuter procedures for the new arrivals.

Principal Ryan Mulvey of West Valley High School in Spokane was recommended for the position by Pullman Schools administrators last week, contingent upon school board approval.
