
Washington State University has received a bequest of $1.5 million from Harold “Hal” and Wilma Stellingwerf. This contribution is designated for the Crimson Opportunity Scholarship, marking the largest donation ever made to this scholarship program. Hal Stellingwerf is an alumnus of WSU, having attended the university after a high school teacher recognized his potential.
