
Bear Creek Road, located south of Princeton, will experience a temporary closure on Monday morning due to culvert installation work. The closure will take place near Hatter Creek Road from 8:30 AM to noon. This closure is necessary for the North Latah County Highway District crews to perform the installation.

Pullman Regional Hospital has been recognized by the American Heart Association with three Silver Achievement Awards following its inaugural year in the “Get With the Guidelines” quality improvement program. The awards were received in the areas of Heart Failure, Stroke, and Coronary Artery Disease care.

Sean Wells has been appointed by Mayor Francis Benjamin as the new city administrator for Pullman. Wells has a background in public service that spans since 1997 and has served as the public works director for the past two years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Washington State University.

Cloverdayle, a country music duo, is scheduled to perform at a fundraiser concert for the Gladish Community and Cultural Center in Pullman this Friday. The Idaho Transportation Department’s Office of Highway Safety is collaborating with law enforcement agencies in Idaho for the 2025 “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign, scheduled from August 15 to September 1. This initiative seeks to address impaired driving in the lead-up to Labor Day, a period noted for increased traffic incidents in Idaho.
