Pullman Regional Hospital has been recognized by the American Heart Association with three Silver Achievement Awards following its inaugural year in the “Get With the Guidelines” quality improvement program. The awards were received in the areas of Heart Failure, Stroke, and Coronary Artery Disease care.

Sean Wells has been appointed by Mayor Francis Benjamin as the new city administrator for Pullman. Wells has a background in public service that spans since 1997 and has served as the public works director for the past two years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Washington State University.

The Moscow Central Lions Club is organizing a Rummage Sale on Saturday, August 16, at the 1912 Center in Moscow from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Proceeds from the event will benefit Lions Sight and Hearing, Wheelchair Ramps, and various community services. Donation items are being accepted for the sale.
