
Fire crews are responding to a small timber fire located north of Deary this morning. The Latah County Sheriff’s Office reported that the fire was first reported around 9:00 PM on Monday. Firefighters from the Idaho Department of Lands and Deary Volunteer Fire Department are currently engaged in efforts to extinguish the flames.

Several tires were found illegally dumped on McGreevy Road, located north of Pullman. The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the situation. Over the weekend, deputies shared images of the dumped tires on the agency’s Facebook page.
