Firefighters responded to a wildland fire along State Highway 3 in Southern Latah County on Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred near milepost 11 and was reported around 3:30 PM. Crews from Kendrick and Juliaetta, along with the Idaho Department of Lands and volunteer firefighters from Deary and Troy, collaborated to extinguish the flames.

Outgoing Pullman City Councilman Trymaine Gaither has announced his resignation, which will take effect on July 15th.
