The Whitman County Library and Community Action Center are collaborating to provide energy assistance to community members. A representative will be available to meet with residents at the Colfax Library on May 14 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm in the library’s downstairs meeting room to assist residents in applying for energy assistance programs.

A planned power outage is scheduled for Southwest Moscow on Thursday night and early Friday morning. Avista Utilities will be replacing aging equipment, which will affect approximately 400 customers. The outage is set to begin at 7:00 PM on Thursday and is expected to last until 6:00 AM on Friday.
