A home in Potlatch experienced damage from a fire on Sunday night. Potlatch Volunteer Firefighters responded to the incident on Pine Street around 7:00. According to the Latah County Sheriff’s Office, flames from a burn barrel spread to the home, resulting in structural damage. There were no reported injuries.
A fundraising campaign is being initiated to support the Gladish Community and Cultural Center in Pullman. Last December, officials at the nonprofit facility reported financial challenges following the closure of the Pullman Community Montessori, which previously leased space in the Gladish. The Washington Charter School Commission made the decision to close the school.
