Two men from Clarkston were arrested in Colfax while inside a vehicle that had been reported stolen.

Whitman County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle early Tuesday morning due to expired registration tabs. The driver, 28-year-old Jacob Bremer, was found to have an outstanding warrant from Asotin County and was also charged with car theft. The passenger, 31-year-old Desmond Beck, had outstanding warrants from both Whitman County and Asotin County and was taken into custody.

Clarkston Police were notified and confirmed that the vehicle was indeed stolen.
