The Idaho Transportation Department is hosting a public meeting to provide information on two ongoing studies in Latah County and gather community feedback.

Scheduled for Tuesday, June 24, the meeting will cover the US Highway 95 Palouse Region Study, which focuses on the area between Snow Road and the Latah/Benewah county line, as well as the State Highway 8 Palouse Region Study, which spans from the Washington state line to Troy.

Both studies, initiated in 2023, aim to inform future transportation investments and address increasing transportation demands in the region.

Residents can attend the in-person meeting from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Best Western University Inn in Moscow.

Project Manager Janet Zarate emphasized the importance of public involvement in the decision-making process, noting that community feedback will play a significant role in developing effective transportation solutions for the Palouse Region.
