The Conner Museum in Pullman has announced its grand reopening at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, April 2. The event will include the dedication of a new mural created by WSU art students.
The museum was closed in the Fall of 2024 due to water damage caused by a leaky pipe, which affected several taxidermied specimens.
The public is invited to attend the reception, featuring remarks from Director Katherine Corn, Associate Art Professor Joe Hedges, and student artists, along with refreshments and guided tours of the facility.
The new mural illustrates an outdoor scene with historical ranges of moose and caribou native to the Pacific Northwest, located by the respective display in the museum.
